Why this isn't a gig

A real freelance role with a real UK brand. Paid like one.

Real money, paid weekly

£30 for your first three approved videos. £50 each after that. Paid to your UK bank account within 7 days of approval. No tokens, no gift cards, no "exposure".

A real UK company

Matter is MMH Global Ltd, a UK-registered company. Our supplement is endorsed by Dr Kazmi, a Consultant Cardiologist. Sold to thousands of UK customers over the last few years.

Made for your age, by your age

We hire UK adults over 45 on purpose. Our customers are your age. Your videos will reach a real audience of people who actually look and sound like you, not pretend to.

Who we are

Matter is a UK heart health brand. Daily Beets is our supplement.

We make a daily supplement called Daily Beets. It supports healthy circulation and blood pressure for adults over 45. Endorsed by Dr Kazmi, a Consultant Cardiologist. Sold to thousands of customers across the UK with a 60-day money-back guarantee.

Most of our customers are aged between 45 and 75. They want to look after their heart. They want to keep doing the things they love without the stairs feeling heavier than they used to. That is the audience our adverts speak to.

The problem we have today: most short-form video ads are made by people in their twenties. They feel young and a bit empty. They miss the audience entirely. So we want to work with creators who actually are our audience.

Who we are looking for

UK adults aged 45 and over. Comfortable on camera. Willing to commit.

If most of these sound like you, we would love to hear from you.

You live in the UK

We pay in GBP and post product to UK addresses only. Sorry to creators outside the UK at this stage.

You are 45 or older

The whole point of the role is age-match with our audience. Younger creators are not a fit for this brief.

You have a phone with a decent camera

Any iPhone or Android from the last few years is fine. We will help you with lighting and audio basics.

You can film at home or outside

Most videos are 60 to 90 seconds. Filmed in your kitchen, garden, or living room. Nothing fancy.

You have filmed something before

Even paid UGC just once. Or steady personal social posts. Strong on-camera presence in your application clip can stand in for prior work, but if you have never filmed yourself for anything, this is probably not the right opportunity.

You can commit to three videos to start

Most of our creators settle into a rhythm of two to four videos a month. We need consistency to make this work.

This probably isn't for you if…

  • You have never filmed yourself on camera for anything, in any context. We can coach a lot, but we cannot coach being uncomfortable on camera from a cold start.
  • You would not be comfortable being seen by strangers on social media. Our videos run as paid adverts on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok across the UK.
  • You are after a one-off £30. This is a small ongoing role, not a single payday. Most creators only break even on their setup time by their third video.
  • You expect take-by-take direction. Our briefs are detailed but the filming itself is on you.
  • You can only commit to "trying one and seeing". We need creators willing to do at least three videos with us so we can both work out if it fits.
What you would actually do

A typical video takes about 30 minutes of your time, start to finish.

We send the script. You film it. You upload the clip. We pay you. That is the whole loop.

Example brief

"A morning routine with Daily Beets"

We send you a one-page brief. It includes:

  • The voiceover script you read out loud (about 60 seconds of speech)
  • What to wear (your usual clothes are fine)
  • Where to film (your kitchen in morning light)
  • What to hold or show (your mug, the Daily Beets pouch)
  • Two short reference clips so you can see what good looks like
  • A "what to avoid" list (no shouting, no music in the background, no sunglasses)

You film three takes on your phone. Pick your favourite. Upload it through the link in the brief. Done.

What we pay

Real money. Paid weekly. No tokens, no gift cards, no "exposure".

Approved videos are paid by bank transfer or PayPal within 7 days of upload.

£30
Per approved video · first 3

Your first three videos. This is where we both work out if the partnership fits. Most creators clear all three within their first month.

£50
Per approved video · ongoing

From video four onwards. If you settle into a rhythm of three approved videos a month, that is £150 a month in pocket.

Free
Daily Beets · while active

One pouch of Daily Beets posted to you every month while you are filming with us. Yours to keep.

How it works

From applying to your first paid video, in about a week.

You apply

Three minutes. Quick form. We ask about your phone, your time, and a short clip of you on camera so we can match you to the right briefs.

We review and reply within a week

If we think you are a fit, we send a short welcome call invite. If we are not the right brand for you, we tell you and wish you well.

You read our onboarding pack

A short guide. Filming basics, what we expect, how to upload, common mistakes to avoid. About 20 minutes to read. We will answer any questions over email.

You film your first video

We send the first brief. You shoot. You upload. We review and either approve or send a small note for one retake. Most first videos get approved within two takes.

You get paid

Bank transfer within 7 days of approval. Then we send your next brief. Most active creators do two to four videos a month.

A note from the founder

Why I want to work with you specifically.

I built Matter because of my dad. He is in his sixties, and like a lot of people his age, he had been told for years that his blood pressure was "creeping up" without being given much to actually do about it beyond another tablet.

Our supplement Daily Beets is what came out of that. It is not magic. It supports the body's natural production of nitric oxide, which is the molecule that keeps blood flow steady. We do not claim to treat anything. We do try to be useful.

The reason I am hiring creators directly, rather than going through an agency, is that the videos that perform best for us are made by people who look and sound like our customers. Not models. Not influencers. Real UK adults in their fifties and sixties talking honestly about how they look after their health.

If that sounds like the kind of thing you would be up for, I would love to hear from you.

Questions you might have

FAQ

Do I need filming or acting experience?

No. The whole point is that we want people who sound natural, not polished. If you have ever recorded a video on your phone, you are technically ready. We send a short onboarding guide that covers the basics of lighting, sound, and framing.

Will my face be on the internet?

Yes, if your video is approved and we use it. The videos run as paid adverts on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. They are seen by people who use those platforms in the UK. They are not posted on your personal accounts or tagged to you publicly.

How long does each video take to film?

About 30 minutes for a typical 60 to 90 second video, including reading the brief, setting up your phone, and filming two or three takes. Filming is the quickest part. Reading the brief properly and finding good light tends to be the bit that pays off most.

What if my video gets rejected?

Rejection is unusual after the first one. Most first videos need one small note (sound, lighting, or pacing) and a quick re-record. We do not pay for unapproved videos, but we always tell you why and what would land approval next time. If we ever feel the partnership is not working, we tell you directly rather than ghosting you.

Can I be in videos with my partner or a friend?

Yes. We often look for two-person dynamics, especially partners. Both people would need to apply separately though, so we have you both on file.

How do you handle data and pay?

The application form collects only the basics: name, email, age range, the portfolio links you share, and your application clip. Phone, location, and payment details are taken on the welcome call once you are approved. Payment is by UK bank transfer or PayPal. We are MMH Global Ltd, registered in the UK. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Why is this only for UK 45 and over?

Because that is who our customers are. Younger creators do not match the audience our adverts need to reach. International creators add tax and shipping complexity we are not set up for yet.

How long are you running this programme for?

We are aiming to build a roster of around 6 to 10 active UK creators over the next three months. After that we will keep adding creators as we scale. If you apply and we are full at that moment, we will keep your application on file and reach out when we have capacity.
